Yin Yoga
A journey into stillness, surrender & spiritual study with Elana Scott
Service Description
Join Elana for a powerful Yin Yoga class. Each 90-minute session invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect, both physically and spiritually. Unlike the more familiar yang styles of yoga like Vinyasa, Hatha, or Ashtanga, Yin offers a quieter, deeper experience. Poses are held for 3–5 minutes, creating space for patience, release, and awareness, offering a profound yet challenging practice in a fast-moving world. Each session is supported with props, grounding guidance, and teachings that go beyond the physical. Elana will draw from a diverse body of wisdom — including The Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and bell hooks’ All About Love; creating a multidimensional experience of embodiment, intellect, and spirit. Whether you're new to Yin or returning to its quiet power, this series offers a container for deep rest, reflection, and perhaps even healing. Come as you are. Leave with more of yourself.

Cancellation Policy
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please take a moment to review the event details before attending. 1. Check what to bring: Each event has specific requirements—please read the description carefully and come prepared with what you need, such as a mat, pillow and/or blanket. 2. Arrive 15 minutes early: Give yourself time to settle in, find your space, and be fully present. Arrival and check in is 30 minutes pre-event. Mats can be laid down 15 minutes before the start time. We begin promptly at the time indicated on your ticket, and will close the doors at that time. 3. Respect the Space & each other: Arriving late disrupts the flow for both facilitators and fellow attendees. Please be mindful of others by being on time. All tickets for our workshops, immersions, and Light House–led events are non-refundable, as your booking reserves a limited spot and allows our facilitators to prepare with intention. If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else — just let us know their name. We appreciate your presence and look forward to welcoming you!
