Cancellation Policy

A 50% non-refundable date hold deposit is required within 24 hours to secure (if shoot date is less than 10 working days away the full amount will be due to confirm). The remaining balance is due 10 working days prior to the shoot date. A refundable breakage deposit will be charged over and above, R30 000–R50 000 depending on brief. Booking times include prep, shoot and wrap. The venue must be vacated by the agreed end time. Overtime is charged at R3,500 ex vat per hour or part thereof. Capacity • max 25 pax for stills • max 65 pax for TVC • Some jobs will be quoted on based on brief Light House operates within a residential building and noise levels must be respected. No outside amplified music after 20h00. All music (shoots) ends by midnight. We reserve the right to lower sound levels if required. Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. Guests, organisers, and suppliers use the venue at their own risk. The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss caused during the event and needs to provide NVD Property with their Public Liability & Insurance documentation before job can be confirmed. INDEMNITY AND LIABILITY The Production Company indemnifies, defends, and holds the Property Owner and Agent, and their representatives, employees, agents, successors and assigns harmless from and against any and all losses, claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal costs on an attorney-and-client scale) arising from or in connection with the Production Company's access to, use or occupation of the Property or the Production Activities. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the indemnity shall include claims arising from personal injury, death or damage to property, whether caused by any act or omission of the Production Company or any of its employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, invitees or other persons authorised by or through the Production Company, including negligence, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and whether arising from the Production Activities, the acts or omissions of persons attending the Property through the Production Company, or otherwise. The Production Company acknowledges that it has inspected the Property and accepts the Property in its current condition, subject to any defects or matters expressly disclosed by the Property Owner in writing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Property Owner and Agent shall not be held liable.
