About the event

Mindfulness is understood to be beneficial to our lives whether walking on the mountain, contemplating liminal spaces, or silently watching the sunset. But when it comes to engaging in a seated practice, we often struggle, are unsure where to begin, or are unable to commit regularly. 

Join Sarah Miller for a four-week course building the pillars of a mindfulness practice and tools to integrate into your daily life. 

Each week we will explore one of the four pillars of a mindfulness practice providing the new or deepening practitioner with insights, tools and community to deepen their practice. 

We will explore the basics of a seated practice, the spectrum of meditation and mindful practices, frameworks to apply in one's personal practice, and cultivate tools for a lifelong seated practice.

Each session is 1 hour and will dive into one of the four pillars.

July 22 - Contemplation of the Body

July 29 - Contemplation of Emotions

Aug 5 - Contemplation of the Mind

Aug 12 - Contemplation of Phenomena

Everyone is welcome to this introductory course.
