About the event

Join for a beautiful 2 hour session to connect to yourself and connect with other women.

You will begin this 2 hour journey by starting with a 45 min Yoga session from Kathleen Gellatly (@alignedliving.co.za) that is designed to help you to release the stresses of daily life and take shelter within yourself and your body. You will be guided through a gentle flow created to be appropriate for all levels and all bodies of practitioners. All women are welcome, whether you are an experienced practitioner or just starting out.

We will then take a short break, during which you can enjoy some lovely, soul-nurturing tea and prepare for the 'talk' portion of the event led by Daniella Corder (@coach_cords). She will cover the following topics:

  1. Explaining the menstrual cycle (what is it and how does it work?)
  2. The hidden truth about contraception
  3. PMS & hormonal balancing tips to combat this
  4. Eating according to your cycle (including women in pregnancy and menopausal phases of life)
  5. Training according to your cycle (including women in pregnancy and menopausal phases of life)

Following this, we will split into groups to interact with the other incredible women attending this event, sharing our own stories and thoughts about womanhood and our experiences in the world as women.

We will then close in Circle to seal our intentions of being active in the changes we wish to see in this world.

This is a very special event and 67% of the ticket sales will go directly to the Rural Reach foundation to support their new care center.

The event tickets work as follows:

  • R450 is the standard, generous ticket
  • R550 is an extra generous donation ticket

More about Rural Reach:

Rural Reach is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the rural poor in and around South Africa. While they have various projects running, they recently bought a new building that we couldn't be more thrilled about. It's going to be a care center specifically tailored for young girls who find themselves pregnant while still in high school.

We aim to make this center a place of warmth, security, and unwavering support for both mothers and their precious babies. Rural Reach is on a mission to help these high school moms navigate the challenges of parenting while finishing up their education. As they continue to uplift these families, we are seeking your support to help them meet urgent needs.
