About the event
An intentional, sober, and beautifully held space for all beings to move fully, freely, and without inhibition. This is your permission slip to shake off the seriousness, to roll, wiggle, flop, bounce, and come alive.
The flow
The first hour of the workshop will be guided by Elana, who draws upon the knowledge she has collected from her dance experiences, incorporating her yogic space-holding skills to create a clear container for movement.
The rest of the workshop will be an open floor to dance as you please, with Chelsea Ann curating the sound. A passionate digger and sharer of music, she hosts ‘Room 121’ on Noods, Lilies, and 90Mil radio. As a selector, her genre-fluid sets explore the eclectic and underground of soul, funk, fusion, jazz, dub, exotica, downtempo, new wave, psychedelia and more.
